The original pastels of these prints are large-scale works, comparable in size to the historic carved horse or menagerie animal being represented. They are intended to be portraits and are the artistic manifestation of the substance and sentiment derived from the authentic carvings. The interpretation of these magical creatures builds upon all the emotion and fantasy inherent in the carousels of a century ago.

The originals in the series are approximately 3 ft. X 6 ft. and the GICLEES of the pieces can be ordered in that unique size or smaller, to fit your needs. To date, the LION and PASSION OF THE ARABIAN are the only originals still available, but I am happy to offer six of the images as fine art, highest quality Giclee reproductions.
